Dakregister

Roof safety & fall protection management

Roof safety and fall protection, properly managed

Dakregister brings all roof safety equipment, inspections and fall protection together in one file — and keeps the evidence for your board, insurer and regulator up to date at all times.

No more separate inspection reports scattered across PDFs and folders. One up-to-date picture, per roof and per piece of equipment.

The problem

Working at height is a top risk — yet the paperwork behind it is often not in order

Inspection reports for anchor points, guardrails, ladder systems and walkways get scattered: a PDF here, an Excel schedule there, and the roofer's memory as a safety net.

When an inspection expired, who inspected which roof section and whether a piece of equipment still complies — you often only find out when you dig into it yourself. After an incident or during an audit, that is exactly where liability begins: can you prove that you knew what had to be done, and that it was actually done?

Dakregister turns this into one up-to-date file — so roof safety no longer depends on loose documents and people's memory, but on a living picture that is always accurate.

Registration

Digital registration of roof safety equipment

Every piece of roof safety equipment gets a fixed place in the digital building file, linked to the roof section and the building it belongs to.

No more loose drawings or installation receipts: everyone who works on the roof sees the same, current situation. So you know exactly which equipment is in place, where it is and what goes with it — before a roofer picks up a ladder.

Anchor point

Registered per roof section and building.

Guardrail

Registered per roof section and building.

Ladder system

Registered per roof section and building.

Walkway

Registered per roof section and building.

Inspections

Fall protection inspections & checks

Dakregister automatically schedules fall protection inspections and records them digitally, per piece of equipment and per roof section.

An inspector carries out the inspection on site; the result goes straight into the file — not into a report that still has to be sent on or scanned in.

When a re-inspection date approaches or passes, Dakregister flags it itself — well before it becomes a problem.

Demonstrably safe

Demonstrably safe working at height

The compliance map shows whether a roof is safe to access: for each piece of equipment you see the status, the latest inspection and what still needs to be done.

It's not a report you draw up once a year, but a living picture that is always accurate. So you have the evidence ready as soon as a regulator, insurer or your own board asks for it — not only after a search through the folders.

The condition assessment behind the compliance map follows NEN 2767 (the Dutch condition-assessment standard: an objective 1–6 condition score — a number, not an opinion) and rgdBOEI (the integrated inspection method the Dutch central government applies to its own real estate).

Who it's for

Everyone around the roof, one single truth

Owners

“My liability for working at height is demonstrably covered.”

You can see for each roof that the equipment complies — and you have the evidence ready for your insurer and regulator.

Property managers

“I know which roof needs an inspection and when — without having to chase anyone.”

One up-to-date file per roof section and automatic alerts when a deadline is approaching.

Contractors

“I know exactly which equipment I'm inspecting — and my result counts as evidence straight away.”

Inspections flow back to the compliance map automatically.

In one stack

Linked to the obligations register & Safanto One

Dakregister doesn't work in isolation. Every inspection and every piece of equipment is linked to the Safanto One obligations register.

This way, roof safety counts towards the same compliance map as the rest of your property portfolio — from lift to roof, in one overview. Roof safety follows the same ISO 55000 approach (the international standard for asset management) as the rest of your portfolio: from condition assessment to well-founded investment decisions. Live status via Vlindar

With Vlindar, a roof safety specialist, Dakregister links the live status of fall protection directly to the compliance map. That keeps the picture current based on what actually happens on the roof — not just on the date of the last inspection.

The reasoning behind this approach — duty of care, inspection frequencies and the underlying standard — is explained on our methodology page. For an example of this integration in practice, see our cases.
