The geoserver reads your own data
No separate GIS tool with its own dataset for you to maintain. The geoserver reads your asset data directly from Safanto One. If an object changes, the map changes with it — automatically, not manually.

Click a pin or area on the map and you go straight to that building's file: obligations, condition, maintenance. It works the other way round too — from an object, you open its location on the map.
Measuring
Measuring floor and surface area — linked to NEN 2580
Floor area is not an estimate, but a figure measured to the standard: NEN 2580, the Dutch standard for measuring floor areas.
The measuring tool calculates BVO (gross floor area), GBO (usable floor area), VVO (lettable floor area) and NVO (net floor area) in accordance with NEN 2580, directly from the building boundaries in your file.
That figure is recorded in the asset register and is immediately usable for leases, valuations and long-term budgets — without anyone retyping it by hand from an old archive of construction drawings.
Calculation tool
Calculating quantities, materials and costs
From the map, you calculate onwards: floor and surface area become quantities, and quantities become materials and costs.
That way you build the rationale for a quote or budget from measurable facts, not from a rule of thumb.
Those quantities and costs are the starting point of your maintenance plan.

For the long-term maintenance plan (MJOP) itself — with scheduling, budgeting and risk-based control — you go to Ordo. Geo & GIS supplies the measured input; Ordo turns it into the MJOP/MJOB (long-term maintenance plan and budget).

Is Geo & GIS a separate mapping program?
No. It is not a standalone GIS tool alongside your property system, but a geoserver on top of your existing asset data in Safanto One. You manage the data in one place; the map follows along.
How is this different from the compliance map?
The compliance map (Safanto One) shows, per object and rental unit, whether you meet your statutory obligations — that is your evidence. Property on the map (Geo & GIS) shows where your portfolio is located geographically. Two different questions, the same underlying data.
Does the tool measure floor area according to NEN 2580?
Yes. Floor and surface area calculations follow NEN 2580, so the figures are directly usable for contracts, valuations and budgets.
Can I use quantities and costs directly in my MJOP?
Yes. Geo & GIS calculates the quantities and costs; for the long-term maintenance plan itself you go to Ordo, where those figures form the basis for scheduling and budgeting.
